Bradford Cathedral is a vibrant place of worship and music making.


The Cathedral Choir, with its subsections of boys, girls, lay clerks and an adult consort, leads the choral worship at the Cathedral, as well as touring, recording and broadcasting. The Choir is professionally directed and aims for excellence in its music making.


Our Autumn 2020 Recitals are taking place from September to December. It will feature top-quality musicians and can be watched both in-person and online. This season's series features:

13 October @ 13.00 - Iyad Sughayer (piano)

21 October @ 12.30 - Alex Berry (organ)

10 November @ 12.30 - Martha Hayward (soprano)

25 November @ 12.30 - Graham Thorpe (organ)

08 December @ 12.30 - Daniel Lappin and Sarah Lamb (flute and clarinet)

16 December @ 12.30 - Gordon Stewart (organ)

Wednesday @ 1 Organ Recitals take place weekly throughout the year from late-January to mid-July and again from mid-September to early-December, featuring the Cathedral's renowned pipe organ, and the Cathedral plays host to many other ensembles and soloists through the year as part of a lively arts programme. Monthly Tuesday Coffee Concerts, accompanied by coffee and cake, add further to the live music on offer at Bradford Cathedral. These events are currently suspended due to COVID-19.
