What is Cathedral Sing?

Cathedral Sing! is our annual day of fun-filled singing workshops for children from all across Bradford. It's fun, engaging, and helps children to become more confident singers, and it's all free!

The workshops are being held on Saturday 15th May at Bradford Cathedral. Each session will last 45 minutes.

During the workshop your children will:

- Enjoy musical games
- Learn fun songs and meet new friends
- Find out more about our cathedral choirs and meet our choristers

The workshops are inclusive and accessible, but places are limited, so please sign up now!

How do I sign up?

If your child would like to come to Cathedral Sing!, you can sign them up HERE.

Will it be COVID-19 secure?

Bradford Cathedral is committed to operating in a Covid-secure way. This year we are running several workshops to minimise the number of people in the building. All of our activities are fully risk assessed and we have put in place measures to minimise the risk and to ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing.

These include:

- The number of people allowed in the building is limited. Therefore, we ask that only one parent attends with their child.
- We observe strict social distancing. Everyone will have a labelled chair, and all the seats are cleaned and sanitised between each workshop.
- The building is well-ventilated. This greatly reduces the risk of spreading Covid-19 when singing.
- We require everyone over the age of 11 to wear a mask in the building at all times (unless you have a medical exemption). The children may take off their masks to sing when instructed to do so by staff. If you forget your mask, we will have disposable masks available on entry.
- Everyone must sanitise their hands when entering and leaving the building.
- Toilet facilities are available, and will be managed in a Covid-secure way.
