Friends of Bradford Cathedral
The words of the Constitution say "to further the religious and other charitable work of Bradford Cathedral" and "to assist in the upkeep and repair of the fabric and contents of the Cathedral and the maintenance of services in the Cathedral." It also says that the Friends should "bring together, in a common fellowship of loyalty and devotion, all those who care for the Cathedral Church of St Peter, Bradford" and "support and encourage those responsible for the pastoral work of the Cathedral". Upcoming EventsWednesday 17th June VisitsThe Friends of Bradford Cathedral regularly arrange visits to other notable places. In 2019 this included a visit to Leicester Cathedral, with an opportunity to enjoy a special guided tour, and find out about the reburial of King Richard III at the Cathedral in 2015. There was also an excellent lunch l and the chance to enjoy some free time followed by a wonderful Choral Evensong.
