Stations of Lament

Exhibition opens at our Ash Wednesday Choral Eucharist at 7.00pm on Wednesday 6 March.

During her tenure as Superintendent Methodist Minister in Bradford South, Louise Carr pondered the theological significance of Lament. She worked with textiles and colour, and made pieces based on concepts that include weeping, desolation, comfort, and emerging hope. Louise’s work has now become an interactive prayer pilgrimage, which we exhibit during the penitential season of Lent.

Louise will also lead a pilgrimage around the Stations of Lament with the Monday Fellowship on Monday 11 March at 2.00. This event is free and all are welcome.
