Children's Space

Outside Bradford Cathedral.

Sunday Morning 10:15

Rarely still and rarely quiet!

If you are visiting us and have children let us tell you a little about what we have on offer. Each Sunday morning during term time, at the 10:15 Eucharist we offer a 'Children's Space' which is geared towards all children from babies upwards. Our Children's Space is led by adults who know and love children and are used to all their quirky ways: happy or sad, excitable or calm, shy or loud, co-operative or grumpy!

We make sure that all children feel welcome and feel as if it is their space and their time whether they are here every week or just visiting. Leaving during the first hymn, we move into the Parish Room, where, using imagination, crafts and drama, the children explore some of the key aspects of the Christian faith. From crafts, to songs, to dressing up, to exploring, to playing. to story telling, to eating .... it's the perfect way for children to start off their Sunday!

Parents are welcome to come over too or stay in the service. Refreshments for all ages provided!

And for the Babies.....

For those of us with babies we do have a creche area to the side of the church, near to the door which you are welcome to use during the service for feeding or entertainment.

You are also welcome to join us in the Parish Room where we have a variety of baby toys, mats and chairs that will allow you to relax with a drink and not worry about any noise!  Bottles and food can also be heated up here.

The main toilets in the Cathedral and the Parish Room also have emergency nappy kits, so don't worry if you have forgotten something vital!
