Family Activities

Our free family activities at Bradford Cathedral during half-term will centre on Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, with lots of crafts, colouring and quizzes, including "Design Your Own Crown" and "Design Your Own Throne". The activities are suitable for younger and older children, and parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to join in with the fun as well!

Family guided tours take place at 11am and 2pm. There is so much to see and do at Bradford Cathedral and everyone is welcome!

Booking is advised in order to ensure a place. Children must be accompanied at all times by an adult.

Opening times for the Platinum Jubilee weekend

Please note that the Cathedral will be closed for visitors on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June, but will open on Saturday 4th June as usual, 10am - 4pm.

Bradford Faith Trail

The Bradford Faith Trail takes place on the first Saturday of the month until October and June’s Trail will be extra special, with some added “royal” details and stories being highlighted along the route.

So, if you fancy doing something just a little bit different on the Jubilee weekend, why not take part in the June Faith Trail- a true celebration of Bradford’s faith communities!

There are places available on the June Trail but we are expecting it to be popular and places are limited. Please contact education@bradfordcathedral.org to book a place on this or future Faith Trails.
